I was thinking we could write little hand-written notes for our regulars and put them under their cups so they could find/read them when they came in. Just another way to let them know that we think/care about how they're doing, as well as would be a pretty compelling incentive to have people become regulars and come more often.
Love ya'all, miss ya'all
OOH I really like this. A lot. And I like that it is a practical way to encourage staff to dig into our customers to build genuine and substantial relationships with them- especially those who are regulars. If we encourage/expect the staff who serves the regular to leave a note under each "regular's" cup after they leave, it would give a very practical way to promote conversations between staff and customers as the staff are seeking something they could write about. It could be something as simple as "hope Abby's soccer game went well" or even "praying Mark get's that job!", but it would promote at least one conversation to happen when they come by.
ReplyDeleteMan, I had another thought, but I can't remember it. I hope it comes back to me soon.
Anyways, I jokingly commented to Pearl that we need to hang out more Eric. She gets you in SR and me in Davis. So spoiled. Really, just kidding though, I don't mean it. We're all so spoiled- it's ridiculous.
I hope your drive went well and you're settling back into the rhythm of your apartment, school, work, and discipling young men. Praying for you and hope to talk in person soon.
I've (not jokingly) thought that for a long time Alyssa, and I have a solution. It's called "Alyssa drives on Shasta". That way we get like 2 1/2 months together.
ReplyDeleteOooo, awesome idea. Note-writing = always a plus!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am pretty spoiled, but I'm gonna rock it as long as He's gonna bless me with it.
